President Director Of PT Permana Putra Ahmad Taufik Undergoes Surgery, KPK Reschedules Summons

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has rescheduled the summons of the President Director of PT Permana Putra, Ahmad Taufik in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). He is in an unhealthy condition because he has just carried out surgery.

"The examinee on behalf of AT is not present and will be rescheduled," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, September 30.

"Because the person concerned is in the process of recovering after surgery," he continued.

Meanwhile, for other summoned parties, namely Budi Badya who is the Head of the Health Crisis Center of the Ministry of Health and the President Director of PT Energi Kita Indonesia (EKI), Satrio Wibowo is called Tessa present. However, he has not detailed the results.

Previously reported, the KPK named three suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) using ready-to-use funds from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). The investigation has been carried out since September 2023.

The amount of state losses in this case reached Rp300 billion with a project value of Rp3.03 trillion for the procurement of 5 million PPE packages.

A total of eight people have been prevented from leaving the country. They are Budi Badhi as the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, Hermansyah who is an ASN from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Satrio Wibowo and Ahmad Taufik as private sector, and A. Isdar Yusuf as advocates.

Furthermore, last June also prevented SLN, which is a doctor and two private parties, namely ET and AM.
