East Jakarta Social Service Monitoring The Number Of PPKS Related To Predictions For Increasing The Number Of Newcomers In Jakarta Pascalbaran

After the return flow of Eid homecoming, the Social Service Sub-Department continues to monitor the need for social welfare services (PPKS) in the East Jakarta area. Moreover, the increase in population in DKI Jakarta is predicted to increase after the pandemic and after the 2023 Eid homecoming.

"Currently, the Social Sub-Department remains as usual to supervise, monitor and provide services to PPKS. We continue to monitor," said East Jakarta Social Sub-dept., Purwono when confirmed by VOI, Friday, April 28.

Meanwhile, regarding the latest number of PPKS in the East Jakarta area, the East Jakarta Social Sub-Department has not yet received detailed data. His party will immediately coordinate with other relevant agencies to reduce the number of PPKS in East Jakarta.

"Regarding the number of PPKS after Eid al-Fitr, we will coordinate with the East Jakarta Satpol PP and the East Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-Dukcapil for data collection," he said.

Confirmed separately, to the DKI Jakarta Dukcapil Service, Budi Awaluddin said, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has many programs in anticipating the problem of poverty, unemployment, and decent settlements. The program starts from skills training, entrepreneurship, job distribution, training, to popular residences.

"However, of course, the DKI Provincial Government has limitations if the number of people who continue to expand with the availability of facilities that are prepared is far beyond the existing programs. Previously, it was reported that the DKI Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) said that the number of newcomers or migration of residents after Eid 2023 in Jakarta had increased. This is because the national economic condition is starting to improve, the pandemic is slowly heading towards an endemic.
