Ghost Phone will ask you to discover the secret of an abandoned cell phone and solve the supernatural mystery of what happened to its previous owner.

Based on an announcement shared on Friday, July 29, the game was built by Snap using Lens Studio and the web-first game engine, Playcanvas.

"Ghost Phone uses surface recognition and world scanning technology to seamlessly weave AR ghosts into real-world environments," the company wrote.

  2. Find the game in Lens Explorer or by tapping the Rocket icon in Chats.
  3. You will be prompted to enter a password to decode and turn on "Ghost Phone" to play.
