SpaceX Celebrates New Year's Eve By Launching Starlink Satellite

JAKARTA SpaceX announced that it will launch its final mission this year on New Year's Eve. The company owned by Elon Musk will launch dozens of Starlink internet broadband satellites.

As usual, SpaceX will launch Starlink with a Falcon 9 rocket from the 39A Launch Complex at the Kennedy Space Center, NASA's facility. The launch window of this mission will open on Tuesday, December 31 at 00.34 local time.

There are 21 Starlinks to be launched and 13 of them are satellites with Direct to Cell capabilities. Before Falcon 9 takes off, SpaceX will broadcast its launch live from SpaceX's web broadcast or social media on X.

Starlink's launch mission on New Year's Eve will be the 134th Falcon 9 flight mission this year. Of the hundreds of flights, 98 of them aim to expand the Starlink network in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

Starlink launch process usually takes a few minutes. Falcon 9 will bring dozens of satellites into orbit, then the first stage will return to Earth about 8 minutes after launch. This first phase will land on the drone Just Read the Instructions.

After the first stage is separated from the rocket body, the upper stage will continue to advance to its targeted orbital position. That way, these dozens of satellites can be placed in a constellation made by SpaceX.

To date, SpaceX has launched thousands of satellites to expand internet networks around the world, even remote areas that are difficult to reach the internet. This great goal makes Starlink the largest satellite constellation.
