Hold Copenhagen, Bayern Munich Save Manchester United

Bayern Munich temporarily saved Manchester United after a 0-0 draw against FC Copenhagen in the Champions League Group A match at the Allianz Arena Stadium, Thursday, November 30 in the morning WIB. Copenhagen still has to compete with Galatasaray and MU in the final match.

The competition in Group A is getting tighter and the team that accompanies Bayern in the last 16 of the Champions League will be determined in the last match.

MU actually has the opportunity to improve its position when visiting Galatasaray headquarters.

However, the failure of goalkeeper Andre Onana to defend the goal so as not to concede made MU have to settle for a 3-3 draw. Even though in that match, MU was already 3-1 up.

The result made the fate of the Red Devils dependent on the Copenhagen match at home to Bayern. Luckily, Harry Kane et al helped MU after drawing with the Danish club.

Even though they only got one point, Copenhagen was able to break Bayern's winning record. This is the first time FC Hollywood has lost points after winning the previous four matches.

The failure to score goals and only able to draw makes Copenhagen remain in second place with point five. The same as Galatasaray who is in third place.

Copenhagen and Galatasaray's fate was determined in the duel between the two teams on December 13, 2023. Galatasaray who played away matches had to beat each other against Copenhagen.

If they fail to win and draw, their position is threatened by MU. However, MU had to undergo severe conditions because he had to beat Bayern in the home game.

In that match, Copenhagen was actually able to keep up with Bayern. In fact, they got a chance, which should have resulted in a goal through Roony Bardghji in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, his shot was still off the mark.

Furthermore, Copenhagen goalkeeper Kamil Grabar thwarted Thomas Mueller's header from close range. Copenhagen's strong defense is indeed the key for them to face Bayern.

As a result, Bayern could not break into Copenhagen's goal and until the match ended the two teams drew 0-0. The result also satisfied the visitors.

"Anyone knows it's not easy to get points in this place [Ba Bayern headquarters]. I'm proud that we were able to get points in the most difficult places to do it on earth," said midfielder Rasmus Falk.

Falk deserves to be proud. Because two of its competitors, MU and Galatasaray, had to lose at home to Bayern. Moreover, Bayern also kept a record of 39 times without losing in home games during European competitions.

This season in the group stage, Copenhagen is the only team that can steal points.
