Hasto: There Are Findings Of Social Assistance Packages At The Golkar Office

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP), Hasto Kristiyanto, admitted that he received a report regarding the findings of social assistance packages (bansos) located at the Golkar DPD office, Yogyakarta. According to him, this proves that social assistance politicization has occurred.

"Yes, finally everyone knows, today we received a report that there was social assistance at the Golkar office in the Yogja DPD," said Hasto to reporters at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Sunday, February 4.

In fact, photos showing social assistance packages at the Golkar office have been spread on social media.

The photo is one of the strong evidences of misuse of government programs that should be for the welfare of the people. However, it is instead used to win certain pairs of candidates.

"It is an example that the misuse of social assistance for the people, for the benefit of the electoral sector, will only cause negative backflow for those who misuse social assistance," said Hasto.

The issue of politicization in the distribution of social assistance is widely heard. Because, Jokowi gave it to the community in the midst of the momentum of the 2024 election campaign period.

As is known, since early January 2024 President Jokowi has made a working visit to a number of regions in Indonesia while distributing social assistance to the local community.

The latest is in the form of distributing social assistance to the government's rice reserve food program (CBP) to the community at the Tingkir Clumpit Football Field, Salatiga City, Central Java Province, Monday, January 22.

Jokowi also directly distributed social assistance during his visit to Banten Province, Papua, to East Kalimantan.
