Three Villages In Nagan Raya Aceh Are Flooded

BANDA ACEH - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Nagan Raya Aceh Regency noted that three villages in the highlands of Beutong Ateuh Banggalang District were flooded by overflowing rivers.

"The three villages that were submerged and affected by the flood were Blang Puuk Village, Kuta Teungoh Village, and Babah Suak Village, Beutong Ateuh Banggalang District," said Head of BPBD Nagan Raya Aceh Irfanda Rinadi reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 27.

According to him, until midnight Monday, the flood-hit area was only seen overflowing with no landslide material.

His party ensured that the natural disaster that occurred was not thought to be a flash flood, but a flood disaster that occurred due to the overflowing of the river in Beutong Ateuh Banggalang District, Nagan Raya Regency.

"This disaster occurred due to overflows in several tributaries due to heavy rains," said Irfanda.

Until Monday before midnight, Nagan Raya BPBD personnel were still monitoring, to ensure that no landslide material was in residential areas.

"For the current condition of the water, it has begun to recede," said Irfanda.
