Russia Destroys 42 Ukrainian Drones In Attack On 5 Regions

JAKARTA - Russia's Ministry of Defense said its air defense system destroyed 42 Ukrainian drones in five Russian regions on Saturday (21/12) night.

Twenty drones were shot down in the Oryol area, 8 drones were each destroyed in the Rostov and Bryansk regions, 5 in the Kursk area and one in Krasnodar Krai.

One attack sparked a fire at a fuel infrastructure facility in Stalnoi Kon village, said Andrei Klychkov, governor of Oryol.

Heads of the Rostov and Bryansk regions said there were no casualties or damage after the latest drone strike.
