Police Reveal Motives Pierre Gruno Persecuted At The South Jakarta Bar Because He Was Offended

JAKARTA - Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Irwandhy Idrus explained that artist Pierre Gruno committed persecution of GDS because he felt offended by the victim.

"So it's very subjective, that's why we say that the gestur assessment that made the suspect offended was very subjective," he told reporters, Friday, July 14.

"We cannot draw a unilateral conclusion, but what we assure is that there is a gesture based on the suspect's assessment that ignites the suspect's emotions," he added.

Irwandhy also said Pierre at the time of the incident was drinking alcohol. However, he believed that when the suspect assaulted the victim, he was still conscious.

"The suspect is conscious, at that time he consumed alcoholic beverages but that does not mean the suspect is drunk, the suspect is conscious," he said.

Pierre Gruno was named a suspect and charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a sentence of five years in prison.
