TRUST Orchestra Brings Back Ghibli And Makoto Shinkai Studio Performances

JAKARTA - Trinity Youth Symphony Orchestra (TRUST) is back with a show titled "The Legends 8 Infinity: The World of Studio Ghibli & Makoto Shinkai" which will be held at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater, South Jakarta on September 21 and 22.

This show comes at a large number of requests, after a concert with a similar title was successfully held earlier this year.

TRUST's appearance this time will be a series of concert series "The Legends" by reviving the most iconic melodies of Studio Ghibli soundtrack and the work of legendary director Makoto Shinkai.

"We are very happy and grateful for the enthusiasm that the public has given to this concert, even after we held a concert with this theme as many as eleven performances," said Nathania Karina as Music Director & Conductor of TRUST Orchestra, in a statement, Tuesday, September 3.

"This huge support is an enthusiasm for us to continue to present interesting programs, in accordance with our mission, namely realizing 'orchestra for everyone'," he continued.

With what is seen so far, Nathania even hopes that this performance can be presented in other areas so that more people enjoy orchestral music.

"Hopefully in the future we can present this theme outside the city, so that not only the people of Jabodetabek can enjoy the TRUST Orchestra performance," he said.

Yonathan Nugroho, CEO of Trinity Optima Production as a music label also supports Nathania's hopes. He believes many people also want to enjoy orchestral music.

"Seeing the enthusiasm of the community at the TRUST concerts in the past year, our next dream is to bring TRUST to be able to appear in other cities in Indonesia, so that quality orchestral music can not only be enjoyed by the people in Jakarta and its surroundings," said Yonathan.

The "The Legends 8 Infinity: The World of Studio Ghibli & Makoto Shinkai" concert also enlivened Ciputra Artpreneur's tenth anniversary in 2024. This event is expected to be one of the main highlights in the Jakarta and Indonesia cultural arts calendar.
