Digital Transformation Is A Solution To Reinvigorate Economy During COVID-19 Pandemic

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian House of Representatives held a Seminar on Knitting the Archipelago Live Streaming with the theme ": Digital Transformation is a Solution to Reinvigorate the Economy during the COVID-19 Pandemic" which was filled by speakers such as Slamet Ariyadi as a member of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Salman Al Farisi as the Founder Salman Al Farisi Tafizh Al Quran Foundation.

This seminar was attended by several people in various regions as MSME actors. The event was opened with remarks from Hasyim Gautama as Director of Public Communication Governance and Partnership, and Slamet Ariyadi by greeting all streaming seminar participants and urging participants to follow health protocols to the fullest.

Then continued with the main event, speaker Salman Al Farisi gave an explanation about the state of MSMEs during the COVID-19 period as it is now. COVID-19 has caused people to be afraid to leave the house, which has impacted the financial condition of many people.

"So that our activities are limited or even prohibited. As a result of COVID-19 this has an impact on the market sector being sluggish, distribution is hampered, raw materials are difficult, turnover decreases, capital is disrupted, and credit payments are disrupted," said Salman.

Meanwhile, Salman said, there are ways that SMEs can survive, such as building a strong character, doing a lot of talking, and building strength with other people.

"Then build a network with other people in the environment and adapt to today's technology. Manage our needs not to be too extravagant, build empathy and sympathy, manage how we work, and diversify products by knowing what the market needs.
