About To Get Married, Couples In Bali Become Victims Of Extortion With The Mode Of Spreading Mesum Videos

BULELENG - A nasty video of a couple in Buleleng, Bali, circulating on WhatsApp. The video is allegedly spread by someone to blackmail the two victims who played the video.

Head of Public Relations of the Buleleng Police, AKP Gede Darma Diatmika said the lovers plan to get married in the near future.

"The plan (they) are to get married," said AKP Diatmika, Thursday, January 9.

However, the lovers are now victims of extortion after a private video containing their sex scenes circulated. This case was reported to the police.

"Reporting that he will be blackmailed by someone who claims to have brought the video," he added.

The extortion was allegedly carried out by someone who claimed to have received the video. The perpetrator asked the victim for tens of millions of money.

"That's the information up to tens but we don't know how much. We've been asked for (money) but haven't been given yet," he said.

AKP Diatmika confirmed that the two actors in the video were adults, not minors.

"The two victims reported to the Resort Police after they were blackmailed by someone who claimed to have received the video," he said.

Police are still conducting an investigation to reveal who was behind the spread of the video.
