JAKARTA - PT Elecmetal Longteng Indonesia has started the construction of a Grindingball production facility in the Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KITB). With a land area of 4.99 hectares and a total investment of nearly 40 million US dollars or around Rp600 billion, this project marks a major step in the development of the basic metal industry in Indonesia.

This facility is designed to produce 200,000 tons of high-quality gereda media per year, with a distribution of 30-35% for the domestic market and 65-70% for exports. The majority of exports are aimed at Australia, one of the main markets for this graining ball product.
