Unable To Accept Losing The Fight, Two Youths In Penjaringan Jakut Stabbed Their Opponents To Death

The police arrested two youths who were suspected of stabbing a man named Ariyan Novantra on Jalan Muara Baru, Pejaringan, North Jakarta. The 2 perpetrators had the initials AP and AR.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Iverson Manossoh, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 25, at 14.30 WIB.

"(Two perpetrators) of murder and maltreatment that resulted in the death of the victim being arrested," said Iverson in his statement, Thursday, April 27.

Iverson explained that the incident began when witnesses Putra and Firdaus were crossing Jalan Bandengan, Petjaringan, North Jakarta. Suddenly AR and his friends approached Putra.

He said there was a problem between the first witness (Men) and the second perpetrator (AR). Then the second perpetrator invited the first witness duel at PT. Koja, after the duel was over, it was considered that the problem had been resolved," he said.

Both of them fought until they were finally won by Putra. AR, who did not accept his defeat, immediately reported it to AP.

Then the two perpetrators stabbed sharp weapons at the victims who were at the location. Including Ariyan, who at that time only saw a fight.

"As a friend, the first perpetrator (AP) did not accept the defeat of the second perpetrator (AR) and the first perpetrator immediately stabbed the victims using a badik type knife. The second perpetrator also stabbed the second victim (Firdaus) using the same badik," he said.

Due to the incident, the two perpetrators left the scene. The victim, who was only watching at that time, suffered a stab wound and eventually died.

Ariyan passed away. Witness victim Muhammad Putra suffered stab wounds to the stomach. Witness to the second victim Muhamad Firdaus suffered four stab wounds. Stab wound to the right arm, three stab wounds to the back. Third witness Reski Persada suffered a stab in the right body, "he said.

The police who received the information immediately arrested the perpetrators. They will be charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 170 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.
