Drivers Of The TNI Service Plate Car Allegedly Perpetrators Of Persecution On The Jagorawi Toll Road

JAKARTA - Two car drivers were involved in an argument until they ended up beating them on the Jagorawi toll road KM 7 Cipayung, the route to Jakarta to Bogor, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.

The perpetrator of the beating was carried out by a car driver who allegedly used the TNI service plate. The incident was also recorded by an amateur camera from one of the passengers of the car involved in the dispute.

The incident began when the victim was driving with his wife and child who was still a toddler. The victim was accused of hitting the perpetrator's car and asked to stop. After that, both of them got into an argument because the victim did not feel that he had hit another driver's car.

The commotion between the two car drivers was dispersed by members of the Highway Patrol (PJR), but the driver who used the TNI service number plate was suspected to be fake, actually beat the victim with the initials DH (49).

Cipayung Police Chief Kompol Gusti confirmed the incident. However, his party has not received reports of victims related to the beating incident.

"We, from the Cipayung Police, are certainly waiting if there are parties who feel aggrieved. Or those who know about the incident, please report or inform us as officers at the Cipayung Police," said Kompol Gusti to reporters, Thursday, April 27.

Even though they have not received a report from the victim, the Cipayung Police are still investigating the information on the beating incident.

"Of course we will take steps in accordance with the interests of the community. For the time being, because the incident involved traffic, involving the toll road, it is suspected that it has been handled by the PJR police," he said.

Cipayung Police appealed and asked the injured victims to make a police report.

"If there is a party (report) later, we will explore and carry out services according to procedures," he explained.
