G-Pluck fronted by Garnida Clouds (bass), Gilang Pramudya (guitar/vocals), Fery Gustian (guitar/vocals), Beni Pratama (drums), and Aufa Kantadiredja (keyboard/vocals) played nicely in front of dozens of fans of The Beatles songs at Crosby Suite, Adelphi Hotel Liverpool.
"Helo, we G-Pluck who flew by plane from Indonesia for twenty hours to appear in front of all of you. We are proud to wear batik, a distinctive pattern that symbolizes the spirit of nationality in our country as well as conveys a message of friendship for everyone here," opened the band's bass player as well as leader, namely Awan Garnida, quoted by Antara, Sunday.
The clouds then continued that currently there may be many people from all over the world, including in Liverpool, Great Britain, who already know Indonesian batik well. "I believe there are some people in this room who have been to Indonesia. You certainly know about Bali, Java, Lombok, Toba, or Papua. Indonesia is a tropical country with a very rich culture, a piece of heaven that fell to earth. Therefore, we would be very happy if the people here prepared flight tickets and immediately came to Indonesia," smiled Awan who was greeted with a nod and applause from the audience.
