Microsoft Launches Microsoft Designer As Canva Competitor Image Editing Application

JAKARTA - Microsoft has finally launched the Microsoft Designer app, a platform for creating and editing artificial intelligence (AI)-powered images for all Microsoft account owners.

Integrated with Microsoft products including Word and PowerPoint, Designers are supported in more than 80 languages on the web, and are available as free mobile apps on either iOS or Android, as well as apps on Windows.

"Desainers are now available via Copilot on some of your favorite Microsoft 365 apps on the web and PC apps to help you upgrade your slides and documents," Microsoft wrote in its announcement.

Supported by advanced AI features, how the Designer works and looks similar to Canva. There, you can find a prompt template that will help you get your creative ideas started.

In addition, Designers can also create stickers, emojis, art clips, monograms, and special avatars by simply inserting an idea in the form of a command word.

Here, you can also make greeting cards or invitation cards easily by simply providing the desired design description. There is also a Restyle image that allows you to turn photos into any artwork.

Similar to other photo editing platforms, Designer also provides tools for creating special photo frames and collage features to unify some of your images.

Not to forget, Microsoft also presents the ability to change the background of the photo. Upload your photo, describe the picture for your background, and AI will automatically create it for you.
