Holywings Crowd Case Rises Investigation, Suspects Will Be There Soon

JAKARTA - The case of violation of health protocols involving the Holywings Kemang cafe has been investigated. This means that sooner or later the police will identify the suspect.

"From the police to enforce the law, we carried out an investigation yesterday. We have clarified it. Now it is at the investigation stage", said the Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Tuesday, September 7.

The increase in the status of this case, said Yusri, after going through the process of examination and case title. Where five people have been asked for information regarding alleged violations of health protocols.

"4 Holywings management, one witness is being investigated. This is still a process", said Yusri.

In this case, the investigative team used Law No. 4/1984 on infectious disease outbreaks. Later, the suspects will be accused of this rule.

On the other hand, when asked about the legal status of the management of the Holywings cafe, Yusri emphasized that so far he is still a witness. However, they may become suspects.

"Yes, we have examined the management of 4 people. We are still examining them as witnesses", Yusri said briefly.

The crowd at Holywings Kemang occurred on the evening of Saturday, September 4th. Visitors who attended exceeded capacity and many of them were not wearing masks.

The joint police and DKI Civil Service Police Unit dispersed all customers at Holywings Kemang while conducting a judicial operation. The authorities asked the management to immediately close Holywings that night.

So far, the Civil Service Police Unit has taken firm action. They sealed or closed the Holywings cafe for the next three days.
