LAB 45 Prepares Recommendations For Prabowo-Gibran Government

JAKARTA - The 2045 Indonesian Laboratory (LAB 45) has prepared a number of recommendations for the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka Government which will be discussed at a national seminar at the Auditorium of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas) Jakarta on Tuesday, October 8.

Head of LAB 45 Jaleswari Pramodhawardani said the recommendation would be discussed in a series of national seminars with the theme "President Joko Widodo's Policy Evaluation: Political Sector of Security, Economy, and Media" by experts or analysts according to the field in this activity.

"To make the basis for fixing and continuing what has been done before," said Jaleswari at the Jakarta National Library, Friday, October 4.

The seminar will consist of two sessions. The first session will discuss security politics with the theme "TNI Modernization under Jokowi: Professional or Political?" As the first civilian president since the reform era, Jokowi has started a number of steps to modernize the Indonesian National Army (TNI).

The discussion will evaluate and provide an overview of how Jokowi's policies in strengthening national defense and the challenges faced to maintain political stability and national security.

In the second session, the seminar will discuss the political economy with the theme "Middle Class Anxiety: Limited in Economic Transformation". This session will recommend the latest economic reality of the middle class which is under pressure due to economic transformation.

This discussion finally explores how President Jokowi's economic policies affect the resilience of the middle class and what needs to be done to improve this situation during the next administration.

LAB 45 is known to be a study institution that wants to harmonize science with empirical practices from government policies for future improvements.
