Intention To Surrender, Ivan Sugianto, The Perpetrator Of Bullying, Was Even Arrested At Juanda Airport

SURABAYA - The Surabaya Resort Police (Polrestabes) named Ivan Sugianto, the perpetrator of the persecution of SMAK students Gloria 2 Surabaya who went viral, as a suspect. The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol. Dirmanto, said that the status was determined after an examination of 11 witnesses was carried out.

Previously, Ivan had expressed his apology for causing a commotion through a video. His apology was also addressed to the victims, schools, families and the Indonesian people in general and with self-awareness he would surrender.

In fact, the police together with the Juanda Airport security task force had forcibly picked up Ivan Sugianto at the arrival terminal T-1 gate 4 Garbarata 6, Thursday 14 November at 16.20 WIB.

"Of the 11 witnesses, the Polrestabes conducted a case title. From the results of the title, brother I (Ivan Sugianto) was declared a suspect and was arrested at Juanda Airport," said Dirmanto.

The case of bullying by Ivan Sugianto occurred on Monday (21/10/2024). This incident began with mocking each other between high school students Gloria 2 Surabaya and SMA Cita Hati Surabaya.

Not accepting the incident, the father of a SMA Cita Hati student then went to Gloria 2 Surabaya High School. Until finally, an incident occurred as described in a video that went viral on social media.

The man known as Ivan Sugianto was seen telling a high school student to prostrate and scream like a dog.

Ivan is said to be one of the night entertainment entrepreneurs in Surabaya. In addition to the viral video, a photo of Ivan posing with a TNI official has also circulated.

One of the photos uploaded on X by the @Opposit6869 account was seen by Ivan in a white shirt taking a photo with a TNI officer.

Two people in front of Ivan also had a member of the TNI with the rank of non-commissioned officer and a man in a white shirt. The four people were seen posing in a car.
