Police Strictly Guard The Kebon Sereh Pospol Office After Being Attacked By OTK Until It Was Destroyed

JAKARTA - Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Matraman Police conducted a crime scene (TKP) at the Kebon Sereh Police Post Office (Pospol), Jalan Ahmad Yani Bypass, Utan Kayu Selatan Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta on Tuesday, August 20, afternoon.

From VOI's observation at the location, it was seen that a number of police officers in free clothes were in front of the Kebon Sereh Police Post. Some of the police were seen on guard while asking for information from local residents after the Pospol attack by an unknown person (OTK).

According to the information gathered, the perpetrator initially rode a Yamaha RX King motorbike with a friend. The perpetrator then got off the RX King motorbike and entered the Kebon Sereh Pospol room like someone who wanted to make a police report.

But suddenly, the perpetrator attacked the Kebon Sereh Police Chief for no apparent reason. The motive for the attack is not yet known.

Until now, the police are still guarding the scene. Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the attack are still being investigated at the Matraman Police.

Previously, it was reported that the Kebon Sereh police post office (Pospol) on Jalan Ahmad Yani Bypass, Utan Kayu Selatan Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta, was damaged by an unknown person on Tuesday, August 20.

The perpetrator crushed the office glass and threw a mess all over the Pospol room. Some of the glass in the pospol building was destroyed and the room and table were messy.

In fact, the perpetrators of the attack also abused the Head of the Police who was on duty inside the post.

Before destroying the police post, the perpetrator entered the pospol room alone. The perpetrator immediately attacked and abused the Head of the Kebon Sereh Police Post.

Police officers from the Matraman Police who arrived at the scene immediately conducted a crime scene investigation. The incident began when the victim thought the perpetrator would make a police report.

After being asked, the perpetrator immediately attacked and abused the Head of the Police Post. Luckily, the Head of the Police, Iptu Sugiyanto, managed to escape from the perpetrator's strangulation.

"Initially (like) people wanted to report. Suddenly I was stabbed, but I was not injured," said Kebon Sereh Police Chief, Iptu Sugiyanto, who was the victim of the attack on reporters, Tuesday, August 20.
