Panic! Transjakarta Bus Strikes At KRL Green Garden Crossing, Passenger Breaks Glass And Scatters Out

JAKARTA - Viral on social media shows a Transjakarta bus breaking down at the KRL Green Garden crossing, West Jakarta, Saturday, February 15. The passengers scattered out in panic.

In the video uploaded by the @Kabarjakarta24 account, Transjakarta Bus passengers can be seen running out to save themselves. The vehicle was caught on the rail when KRL was about to pass.

Luckily, just before the train approached, the traffic jam managed to break down, so the bus could go back and avoid traffic accidents.

Head of the TransJakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred at the Green Garden railway crossing, West Jakarta, on Saturday, February 15, at 13.00 WIB.

He also confirmed that the rear glass of the Transjakarta Bus was broken by passengers. This happened due to panic when he found out that the vehicle he was traveling in stopped in the middle of the rail when the KRL approached.

"That's right, there was a left side glass that was broken because customers panicked when the bus was stuck in traffic at the train crossing and asked to get off," Ayu said when confirmed, Sunday, February 16.

Ayu explained that the reason for the bus stop was the presence of other vehicles in front of her.

"We have carried out an internal investigation. The bus rate was hampered after passing some of the railroad tracks due to red lights and other vehicles in front of it," he said.
