JAKARTA - A large python appeared in an uninhabited empty house on Swakarsa III Street, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Friday, June 14. The 4 meter long snake moves towards residential areas.

The appearance of the snake was known to Sahan, a local housing security officer. He saw the appearance of the snake while on guard.

"There were reports of snakes on the side of the road, I went there. The snake length was four meters. Immediately reported to the fire department," said Sahan to reporters.

Residents who saw the appearance of large snakes immediately reported to the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers to evacuate the snake.

Danru, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Duren Sawit Sector, Singgih, said that after receiving reports of snakes on Swakarsa Street, his party immediately headed to the location.

"Regarding the snake, it is often seen and this is the first time it has been seen again. The snake itself is 4 meters long and has a type of batik. According to residents, this snake has been monitored for a long time," he said.

The process of evacuating snakes was constrained by the fence of an empty house that was locked. So that the officers find it difficult to reach access to an empty house.

"The problem is that the snake is in an empty house, so it's a bit difficult for us to enter. We had time to open the fence lock and we caught the snake," he said.

While the evacuation of snakes lasted about 15 minutes. A total of 4 rescue teams were deployed to catch snakes with pinchers.
