The Act Of 5 Debt Collectors Such As Thieves In The Aftermath Of The Victim, Accuses The Installment Has Not Been Paid Off

JAKARTA - A total of 5 debt collectors or debt collectors aka eagle eyes were arrested by residents of Jalan Pondok Kopi III A, Pondok Kopi Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Friday, April 19.

They were arrested for their disturbing actions by following the car driver. In fact, the five unknown youths were almost the target of the mob's tantrum after the car the victim was traveling in almost hit a resident while trying to avoid the collector's debt.

A car driver, Handa (35) said the incident began when the two cars carrying five debt collectors followed him from the Bekasi area, West Java.

"Earlier when I walked home, I was followed from Jatibening Toll Road, Kalimalang Highway to home. I was suspicious, when in Kalimalang they followed me. I parked, they parked. I walked, they also walked," he said.

The victim had asked local residents for help because he felt his safety was threatened. Residents also suspected the behavior of the five youths by closing the housing portal so that the five youths could not escape.

"They admit that they are from 'leasing' (financing companies). But, I've never felt credit or made any loans like what they mentioned," he said.

In fact, the address of the person who borrowed was in Serang, Banten and not his home address.

"The person who borrowed was not in my or my family's name, but on behalf of someone else," he said.

Handa admitted that he had lost the Motor Vehicle Owner's Book (BPKB) for his SUV last year because his house was stolen.

"I lost my car BPKB last year, my house was stolen. My BPKB is missing, including a motorbike," said Handa.

However, the debt collector thought that the vehicle owned by Handa had to be withdrawn due to arrears in loans.

"The same as their assignment letter, that the number plate is the same as my vehicle, only on behalf of not on my behalf. I have made a new BPKB and the data from them is different," he said.

A number of police officers from the Duren Sawit Police also came to the scene after receiving reports from residents. The perpetrators were then taken to the Duren Sawit Police.
