There Were 1 Toddler And 1 Other Child Who Died On Fire At The Mampang Frame Brother's Shop

The fire that occurred in the frame shop of Brother Frame and Gallery on Jalan Mampang Prapatan Raya, Mampang, South Jakarta killed 7 victims and 5 others were injured.

South Jakarta Gulkarmat picket Officer, Imbang Satriana explained that the victims consisted of adults and children.

"That's right, 7 people died. (In the form of) 2 adult women. 3 adult men, 1 girl and 1 toddler girl," said Imbang Satriana in his statement, Friday, April 19.

"While 3 people were injured were taken to the RSPP and 2 others to the Mampang Hospital," he continued.

Imbang said the fire started from the compressor of the Figure shop which suddenly exploded and caught fire. So the workers rushed out and contacted the South Jakarta Damkar.

There was a gas station explosion and a big fire broke out. The workers rushed out and then called the fire department post to ask for help," he said.

On that basis, dozens of units and 100 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire.

Until now, officers are still cooling the building. Meanwhile, the bodies have been evacuated.

"Until now it is still cooling down," he concluded.
