Remind Police Not To Get Involved In Practical Politics, Central Jakarta Police Chief: Neutrality Is The Key

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro emphasized to his staff to uphold professionalism, neutrality, and integrity during the implementation of their duties.

"I remind personnel not to get involved in practical politics that leads to partiality. Netality is the key in creating public trust in the democratic process," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, November 17.

The appeal was called for ahead of the third debate of the Jakarta gubernatorial election which will take place at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 17, evening.

In the debate, three candidate pairs will bring together, namely Ridwan Kamil Suswono, Pramono Anung 'Rano Karno, and Dharma Pongrekun' Kun Wardana. The three candidate pairs will compete with vision and mission to lead the city of Jakarta.

In securing the debate later, the Central Jakarta Metro Police deployed thousands of joint personnel to secure ahead of the debate between the three Candidates for Governor (Cagub) and Candidates for Deputy Governor (Cawagub) Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said security was carried out comprehensively to support the smooth running of all stages of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

"We have deployed 1,516 joint personnel. We ensure that all aspects of security can be maintained properly and that there are no threats that can interfere with the event," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, November 17.
