Husband Of Murder Victim In Kedung Waringin Bogor Arrested

JAKARTA - A man named Reza Maulana was arrested by the Bogor City Police Satreskrim on suspicion of killing his wife, NA (36), in a house in Kedung Waringin Village on Thursday, March 28.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor City Police, Kompol Lutfi Olot Gigantara, revealed that the perpetrator was arrested around the crime scene (TKP) shortly after the incident.

However, he said, the police had not been able to reveal what the motive was for killing his own wife.

"The perpetrator is the victim's husband, currently being investigated by investigators at the Bogor City Police. He has become a suspect and is being detained," said Lutfi.

Meanwhile, Lutfi continued, the police had received the results of a temporary autopsy from the victim's body at the Kramat Djati Police Hospital.

He said, from the results of the interim autopsy obtained, there were wounds from sharp objects on the neck of the left side, left ear, and right cheek.

"The wound on the right cheek penetrates the neck muscle and cuts the main pulses of the right and left necks resulting in severe bleeding, and the victim dies," he said.

Bogor City Police are investigating the murder that killed a woman with the initials NA (36) in Kedung Waringin Village. Residents reported the death toll on Thursday, March 28, noon, and found a screwdriver at the scene.
