BOGOR - Chawalkot Bogor, West Java Atang Trisnanto filled the calm day of the 2024 Pilkada which coincided with National Teacher's Day by visiting the graves of great scholars and Indonesian heroes in Dreded to reflect on the journey of these great figures in fighting, educating and benefiting the nation and state.

With a black cap and a white koko, Atang was accompanied by the leadership of the Al umm Aswaja Islamic Boarding School KH. Ahmad Alfan, head of the Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School KH Luthfi Kurnaen on a pilgrimage to the four graves of scholars and heroes in Bogor City on Monday, November 25.

In addition to coincident with National Teacher's Day which falls every November 25 as a momentum to glorify teachers, scholars and fighters, pilgrimages to fighters and scholars following in the footsteps of Vice President 2019-2024 Ma'ruf Amin who also visited the grave of KH Abdullah Bin Nuh at the moment of the 2019 presidential election. Vice President Ma'ruf Amin was a NU figure who finally led Indonesia five years ago.

"This region is part of reflection, fighting for the Pilkada, we just have to reflect, pray, see how the leaders of Indonesian scholars and heroes lead, benefit and educate the nation's generation. I must give thanks to God, whatever God wants we must accept sincerely. We will all return to Him, no matter how great we are today," said Atang on the sidelines of pilgrimage activities.

Sitting down, Atang raised his hands to pray for the great scholars, the great educators who worked together with the community in their time with impressive insights from the international community such as the great scholar Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) KH. Abdullah Bin Nuh.

The tomb of the great NU cleric was in the Al-Ghazaly Islamic Boarding School area located in Paris City Village, Merdeka Street, Central Bogor District, Bogor City.

Kiai Haji Mama Abdullah Bin Nuh or who is familiarly called Mama Abdullah Bin Nuh founded the Islamic boarding school which was founded around 1970. He is known as an Islamic figure who attracted the attention of Paris intellectuals and liked the book written by Imam Al Ghazaly.

Then, his prayer and pilgrimage to the tomb of KH Asyari Bakom or better known as Mama Bakom is a charismatic kyai who has a big influence among the community and many of his students.

It is estimated that he was born in the 1850s from the aristocrats who had a procession of not being arrogant. There he was greeted by KH Mama Ajingan Kholidi, the caretaker of the Ar Rohmah Bakom Islamic Boarding School, South Bogor.

In addition, Atang also made a pilgrimage to Mama Cipelang and the hero's grave in Dreded, which is also the burial place for Captain Muslihat and Major Oking.

"All of this is nothing but to remind us that the role of humans is different and destiny is the will of Allah. Like those of the ulama and the fighters, we only strive. We must believe that Allah will give the best for every one of us," he said.

Atang also hopes that by getting closer to Allah SWT, to God Almighty. Bogor residents who are pluralistic can respect each other, respect and be friendly in building cities.

He wanted this moment of calm to be able to reduce the ambition of power not to justify it as soon as possible in order to achieve it.

"The moment of calm, this is where we come closer to Allah. We must work together for the greater interest, namely the progress of the City of Bogor," he said.
