The situation on Jalan Imam Bonjol, in front of the Office of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia still looks deserted from the two mass groups of demonstrations against the right of inquiry and supporters of the right of inquiry.

As of Wednesday, March 20 at around 10.30 WIB, there were no mass groups present to demonstrate in front of the Indonesian KPU Office, Central Jakarta.

According to the police, the situation in Jalan Imam Bonjol, Menteng District, Central Jakarta still looks deserted from the demonstrators. The police said the demonstrators began to arrive at around 14.00 WIB.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said traffic engineering would be situational depending on conditions on the ground.

"If necessary, traffic diversion will be carried out," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Wednesday, March 20.

Kombes Susatyo appealed to the public who would pass in front of the Indonesian KPU and also the Indonesian House of Representatives to find other alternative ways because there would be an action of expressing opinions in front of the Indonesian KPU building and the Indonesian House of Representatives/MPR.

Furthermore, Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro appealed to the participants of this afternoon's demonstration to pay attention to the rights of other communities.

"We urge anyone who will express their opinions in public, as stipulated in the law on conveying the opinion of the rights of every citizen. Of course, it must pay attention to other public rights, so that the rules in the law on expressing opinions in public, please obey them," he said.

Kombes Susatyo asked all personnel involved in security to always act persuasively.

"Not provoked, prioritizing negotiations, services and humanism," he said.
