Medan Buru Police 7 Perpetrators Of The Murder Of A Former TNI Member Whose Body Was Drowned In A Pool

Medan Police are hunting for seven suspected perpetrators of the murder of former TNI member Andreas Rury Stein Sianipar (44), whose body was found in North Labuhanbatu Regency (Labura), North Sumatra.

"There are still seven other perpetrators being chased, namely the initials F, R, RSH, E, NIG, J, and FS. Later we will issue a DPO (wanted list)," said Medan Police Chief Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 3.

The role of the seven alleged perpetrators, he continued, was to help and carry out the persecution, causing the victim to die.

Until now, the police have arrested four suspected perpetrators, namely the initials CJS (23), a resident of Klambir V, Kematan Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

"Then, MFIH (25), and FA (37) both residents of Jalan Binjai, and F (45) residents of Kampung Lalang Village, Deli Serdang," he explained.

The disclosure of the case began with the police report Number: LP/B/3517/XII/2024/SPKT/Medan Polrestabes/North Sumatra Police, dated December 11, 2024, the reporter on behalf of Nikolas Putra Stein Sianipar.

"The initial report was that the confinement on behalf of the victim Andreas Rury Stein Sianipar was a resident of Sunggal District, Deli Serdang," he said.

Following up on the report, the Medan Police Satreskrim team then carried out a series of investigations.

"On Wednesday (18/12/2024), we opened a series of criminal events that occurred and named three people as suspects," he said.

Gidion said that the motive for the kidnapping and murder of the victim Andreas was a rental car problem.

"The victim rented a rental car belonging to a perpetrator. However, the victim did not return the car, so the perpetrators killed the victim," he said.

The role of the CJS perpetrators was to pick up the victim, while MFIH (25), and FA (37), who abused the victim by kicking, and slashing the victim's leg with a long machete.

After his death, the body of the victim Andreas was taken to North Labuhanbatu. By the alleged perpetrators, Andreas' body was drowned in the oil palm plantation pool Dusun III Bulu Telang, Aek Tapa Village, Marbau District, Labura.

Police found the body of the victim Andreas in Labura, Saturday (12/12), with his body condition growing and rotting on both legs and the victim's hands tied and weighted.

"The perpetrators were charged with Article 338 Subs Article 170 paragraph (3) Subs Article 333 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code," explained Gidion.
