BANDA ACEH - The police have not been able to confirm that the explosion in the Lhong Raya area came from a bomb. Police are waiting for the results of the forensic laboratory examination.

"After checking at the Forensic Laboratory (later), we just found out what kind of this debris are," said the Head of District Police of Banda Aceh Police Grand Commissioner Joko Krisdiyanto at the scene of the explosion, Lhong Raya, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City, as quoted by Antara, Monday, March 1.

Earlier, the sound of an explosion could be heard from in front of the house of one of the residents of Lhong Raya. After the explosion, the Aceh Police Bomb Squadter Team was still carrying out field identification.

After hearing information about an explosion, the Bomb Squad of Aceh Police immediately identified the field, then found several pieces of damage at the crime scene.

"The damage in that location was the place of an IRT (housewife) business who happened to be no longer used for business," he said.

From the identification of the Bomb Team, only one object such as metal was found. However, these findings must be checked at Forensic Lab.

"The object that has been secured so far is metal. The Forensic Lab team will develop what kind of item this is," he said.

In addition, Joko said, in this incident, a housewife suffered minor injuries to her leg as a result of being hit by shards of glass from the exploding shelf and had to be rushed to the hospital.

"While the victim was a woman, the owner of the house, and her leg was injured. The victim has been taken to the hospital," said Joko.

The police have only examined one witness from the explosion, namely the housewife who owns the house.
