Brawijaya Hospital Tebet Denies Incident Of Pulsiness Of White Smoke Due To Broken Helium Tubes

JAKARTA - The Brawijaya Hospital, Tebet, South Jakarta began responding to the fire that had hit the health center building on Friday, February 2. They denied that the fire was caused by a broken Helium tube.

"The information circulating that the smoke from the broken Helium tube is false information," said Brawijaya Healthcare Group Corporate Communication Dian Sunardi to reporters, Sunday, February 4.

Dian also apologized for the puff of smoke coming out of one of the ventilations near the Brawijaya Hospital Radiology room, Jalan Saharjo Tebet, South Jakarta.

"There has indeed been an incident in the Brawijaya Hospital Saharjo radiology room at 21.16 WIB," he said.

However, Dian confirmed that the incident was caused by a sudden radiological device.

"The termination of the radiology device automatically emits thick smoke that comes out through the sewer pipe behind the hospital emergency room unit," he said.

However, when checked by hospital officials as a whole, it was known that conditions were safe.

"There were no sparks and no casualties or damage in this incident," he said.

Previously, a puff of smoke reportedly covered part of the radiology room of Brawijaya Hospital, Tebet, South Jakarta. The puff of smoke occurred due to the burning of helium gas cylinders.

South Jakarta Gulkarmat picket officer Suhadi confirmed the incident. His party received a report Friday, February 2, at 21.16 WIB.

"The helium gas broke out resulting in a puff of smoke. It has been checked up but there is no fire. So it is not a fire," said Suhardi when confirmed, Friday, February 2.
