Persecuted To Cracked Bones, IRT In Cilincing Reports Her Husband To Police

JAKARTA - A woman in North Jakarta named Siti (44) reported her husband, Muray, to the police on suspicion of domestic violence (KDRT).

The violence was caught on CCTV cameras. In the footage, it can be seen that the victim ran out of the house and was chased by the perpetrator, her husband. Shortly thereafter, the victim was dragged by the perpetrator into the house.

Information said that the domestic violence took place on November 18, 2023, at 07.30 WIB at Siti and Muray's residence. That morning, Siti was cooking while listening to music. Suddenly her husband, Muray, immediately got angry for no reason and bit Siti's right cheek until she was injured.

"The reported person from the 2nd floor of his house was immediately angry and bit the right cheek of the reporter," said a VOI source, when confirmed, Friday, February 2.

Siti, who was feeling scared, immediately ran away and left the house. Shortly thereafter her husband chased her into the house.

Based on the victim's confession to VOI, the victim again received violence by her husband until he suffered a tail fracture.

"The wound bit on the right cheek, as well as bruises on the legs, back, and bones of the injured or cracked tails," he said.

For this incident, Siti and her family reported her husband to the police. The report is registered with the number LP/B/1251/XI/2023/North JAKARTA METRO POLICE on November 23, 2023.

Unfortunately, the legal process for the alleged domestic violence did not go as it should. In fact, from the available evidence such as CCTV footage, Siti's face was clear. The perpetrator has not yet been secured by the police.

Confirmed, North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Gideon Arif Setyawan said the case was still under investigation.

Gidion paid attention to this domestic violence case, to be followed up immediately and thoroughly investigated.
