JAKARTA - A woman named Jesslyn Wijaya, who is known as a golfer who is also the daughter of businessman Ponty Wijaya, is suspected of being a victim of the usurpation of independence on Monday, July 13, 2026 at around 19.45 WIB at the Saung Kita Restaurant, Mangga Besar, Central Jakarta.

The victim is known to be residing in an apartment in the Pluit area, North Jakarta. Based on information obtained by the reporting party, the victim has lived an independent life and no longer lives in one house with his mother and sister.

On the day of the incident, the victim accepted an invitation to attend her grandmother's birthday celebration held at the Saung Kita Restaurant, Mangga Besar, Central Jakarta.

According to the statements of a number of witnesses, shortly before the birthday party began, when all preparations were completed and the birthday song was about to be played, the victim suddenly closed his eyes, then was picked up and carried by two large-bodied men towards a black car. The victim was heard screaming for help and tried to get out of the vehicle, but was then put back in the car. The vehicle then left the location. According to witness statements, there were about five men at the location at the time of the incident.

Since the incident, the victim has not been able to be contacted by his friends or parties who are trying to ascertain his condition. Based on information obtained by the reporting party, the mobile phone allegedly used by the victim cannot be accessed as usual.

The incident has been officially reported to the Central Jakarta Metro Police. Based on information from the reporting party, the police team moved quickly by visiting the scene, conducting an initial examination, and asking for information from a number of witnesses who were at the restaurant.

According to information obtained by the reporter, several witnesses confirmed the events as reported.

When checked at the location, information was obtained that the CCTV footage of the restaurant could not be used. Regarding the cause of the condition and whether there is a connection with the incident being investigated, it is entirely the authority of the investigator to conduct an in-depth investigation based on valid evidence.

Furthermore, based on information obtained by the reporter, the police team also conducted a search at several locations suspected of being related to the victim's whereabouts, including visiting the victim's residence. However, until then the whereabouts of the victim have not been confirmed.

Because the victim could not be contacted and his whereabouts were not known, the reporting party tried to trace the possibility of traveling abroad. Based on the information obtained by the reporter, there is an indication that on July 14, 2026, the victim traveled to Malaysia via Semarang. This information still needs further verification by investigators through official data from authorized agencies.

On the other hand, the reporting party also obtained information that the mobile phone device allegedly belonging to the victim was still detected in the Puri Jimbaran area. The difference in information is expected to be part of the investigation to uncover the whereabouts of the actual victim.

Until this news was published, Jesslyn Wijaya's whereabouts are still uncertain.

The victim's family hopes that the Indonesian National Police will continue to take steps to investigate professionally, objectively, transparently, and accountable. The victim was found and this case can be completed.
