JAKARTA - A number of campaign props (APK) for the 2024 election that violated the rules in the West Jakarta area were again carried out by joint officers.

In controlling this, the officers involved consisted of the Tanjung Duren Police along with the three pillars of Grogol Petamburan, FKDM, PPSU, and Panwascam sub-districts.

This action was taken to respond to public reports related to the APK which were considered disturbing and dangerous.

"We collaborated with related elements to carry out control related to the 2024 Election APK settlement which is considered disturbing and dangerous," said Tanjung Duren Police Chief, Kompol Muharram Wibisono when confirmed, Wednesday, January 31.

A total of 95 joint personnel came from 11 personnel from the Tanjung Duren Police, 35 Satpol PP personnel, 7 Transportation Agency personnel, 7 Binamarga personnel, 9 Panwascam personnel, 3 PPK personnel, 21 PPSU personnel, and 2 representatives of political parties from PKS.

"The APK procession on Jalan Arjuna, Jalan S Parman, TL Tomang, Jalan Tomang Raya, Jalan Salak Masir, Jalan Daan Mogot, Jalan Tubagus Angke, Jalan Sekretaris, Jalan Tanjung Duren Utara IV, Jalan Latumenten, Jalan Makaliwe, Jalan Kiyai Tapa," he said.

After being brought under control, a number of the APKs will be stored in the sub-district, which will then be made as official evidence.

"The entire procession is carried out with complete documentation," he said.

Controlling the APK is expected to create a conducive and safe environment in the face of the 2024 General Election. In addition, it is hoped that it can provide a sense of comfort for the community and maintain order in Grogol Petamburan District.
