MM Alias Fahri, Often Orders Prostitutes At Hotels To Steal Their Assets

JAKARTA - A commercial sex worker (PSK) became a victim of theft by a customer. The perpetrator, known as Fahri, took the victim's cellphone during a transaction in a hotel room in West Jakarta. After being reported by the victim, the Tamansari Metro Police managed to arrest Fahri in the Bekasi area, West Java.

The Head of the Tamansari Metro Police, Kompol Adhi Wananda, said that Fahri was only targeting women at night. The last sex worker victim had the initials ATP (29), with a cellphone loss and tens of millions of savings in an ATM.

Kompol Adhi explained, Fahri invited his prospective victim to a hotel in Tamansari, West Jakarta. With the excuse of ordering food through the GoFood application, the perpetrator borrowed the victim's cellphone and ATM pin number.

"After the victim was caught off guard, the perpetrator fled, taking away his valuables," said Kompol Adhi when confirmed, Tuesday, January 30.

Realizing that he was deceived by the perpetrator, the ATP victim immediately tried to block his account but the money in the account had been taken by the perpetrator. The loss suffered by the victim reached Rp40 million. The victim then reported to the Tamansari Metro Police.

Meanwhile, the process of arresting the perpetrators was led directly by the Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Suparmin. After receiving the victim's report, the Criminal Investigation Unit also conducted an investigation.

"The perpetrator MM alias Fahri was successfully secured in the Bekasi area, West Java. The perpetrator was arrested after selling the victim's stolen goods through the Facebook marketplace," added Kanit.

From the perpetrator's statement, he has acted dozens of times with the same mode.

"The perpetrators acted in various cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya and Yogyakarta," he said.

As a result of his actions, Fahri was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison.
