4 Collaborating Gangs To Steal Iron From Inside Trucks In Cakung Have Been Arrested

JAKARTA - A gang of jumping squirrels caught on video cameras from one of the truck drivers was arrested by the Cakung Police Criminal Investigation Unit for less than 1x24 hours. The perpetrators were arrested after the video of the theft went viral on social media.

According to the information gathered, the perpetrators of the theft of truck cargo with the jumping squirrel mode amounted to 4 people. The arrests of the four perpetrators were carried out in stages after development.

The Cakung Police Chief, Kompol Panji Ali Candra, confirmed the arrests of the jumping squirrels.

"That's right. Four perpetrators have been arrested," said Kompol Panji when confirmed by VOI, Friday, January 26.

The jumping squirrels were caught stealing a truck loaded with iron while the traffic flow on Jalan Raya Bekasi, Cakung, East Jakarta, was jammed on Wednesday, January 24.

The perpetrator's actions were apparently known by other truck drivers and recorded the theft of the perpetrators. But instead of avoiding it, the perpetrators actually fought back.

From the amateur video footage, it appears that a young man was riding the back of the truck and removing the tarpaulin covering the cargo. The perpetrators also removed several iron rods from the truck.

The perpetrators did not act alone. Three other fellow perpetrators waited on the side of the road to secure the iron released by the perpetrators.

The theft of the truck's cargo also made the drivers nervous because they had to be responsible for replacing lost cargo. The action of this herd of squirrels jumping along Jalan Raya Bekasi has often happened.
