During PPKM Mikro, Residents Who Are Self-isolating At Home Are Required To Get Rice And Masks

JAKARTA - The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that residents who undergo independent isolation because they are positive for COVID-19 will not be 'alone'. They will receive logistical aid in implementing PPKM Mikro in Java and Bali.

The chairman of the Committee for Handling COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPC-PEN) said that the aid was provided in the form of rice and masks.

"There is rice aid per house isolated independently for 14 days, that's 20 kilograms of rice and provision of cloth masks. This is being coordinated by the Indonesian National Police at each level," Airlangga said in a virtual press conference, Saturday, February 20.

Airlangga announced that the micro-scale PPKM was extended for two weeks from February 22 to March 8, 2021. A number of preparations were made.

Airlangga said that the Ministry of Health had distributed 653,375 antigen test kits and 1 million kits would be added at the start of the micro-PPKM as of January 23.

Then, the COVID-19 Handling Task Force prepared a case tracker (tracer) of 4,188 people, Village Guidance Officer (Babinsa) 29,491 people, Community Police Officer (Babinkamtibmas) 17,523 people. This antigen system is integrated with the existing system at the Ministry of Health.

As for assistance to the involvement of the post at the micro-level, it uses various sources of financing, including Village Government Budget (APBDes), District/City Government Budget, National Army-National Police budget, Ministry of Health budget, National Board of Disaster Management (BNPB), Provincial Government Budget, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Industry, and so on.

"The assignment is at the post. Prevention, coaching, and support, both logistics, administration, testing with free antigen swabs, tracer using Village Guidance Officer (Babinsa) and Community Police Officer (Babinkamtibmas)," said Airlangga.

PPKM Mikro refers to regional zoning. This zoning determination is determined by the local government which is then mapped by each governor. The determination takes into account a number of criteria as follows:

1. Green zone

Criteria: No house in one RT has a positive case of COVID-19 in the last 7 days.

Scenario: active surveillance, all suspects tested, and monitoring of the case is carried out regularly.

2. Yellow zone

Criteria: there are 1 to 5 houses with positive cases during the last 7 days.

Scenario: find a suspected case and close contact tracing and then ask for self-isolation with close supervision.

3. Orange zone

Criteria: there are 6 to 10 houses with positive cases during the last 7 days.

Scenarios: finding suspected cases and tracing close contacts and then being asked to self-isolate under strict supervision, closing houses of worship, children's play areas, and other public places except for the essential sector.

4. Red zone

Criteria: there are more than 10 houses with positive cases during the last 7 days.

Scenarios: finding suspect cases and close contact tracing; perform self-isolation; closing houses of worship, children's play areas, and other public places except for the essential sector; prohibits crowds of more than 3 people; limit entry and exit of RT to a maximum of 20.00 WIB; and eliminate crowd-generating social activities.
