Reveals 10 Cases, Bogor Police Arrest 23 Drug Dealers In 2 Weeks

The Bogor Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested 23 drug dealers out of 10 cases in the last two weeks.

"There are 10 criminal cases of drug abuse of methamphetamine, two criminal acts of synthetic tobacco abuse, six cases of pharmaceutical inventory," said Bogor Deputy Chief of Police, Kompol Fitra Zuanda during a press conference at the Bogor Police Headquarters, Friday, September 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

The suspected dealers had the initials MF, TB, MM, OC, AB, MA, AS, RD, AF, SK, RS, YE, FA, GF, LH, FR, AP, ES, MA, IS, CD, IS, and one woman with the initials TJ.

Fitra explained that the suspected dealers are located in several areas, namely Cibinong, Citeureup, Gunung Putri, Parung, Cigudeg, Ciseeng, and Babakan Madang.

"The mode is a system of pasting or storing narcotics somewhere, then giving instructions to narcotics buyers by going through pictures or maps. Then through the COD system, or meeting in person," he said.

From the suspects, the police confiscated various evidences in the form of 549.91 grams of methamphetamine, 18.38 grams of marijuana, gorilla tobacco or 185.50 grams of synthetic tobacco, 91 ecstasy pills, 5,090 pharmaceutical preparations, and 521 psychotropic grains.

The suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2, paragraph 1, article 112 paragraph 2, paragraph 1, article 111 paragraph 1 and Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, Article 59 of Law no. 5 of 1997 concerning psychotropic substances, articles 435 and 436 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia no. 17 of 2023 concerning health.
