"Officers moved quickly to disperse the brawl and secure five young people suspected of being involved in the clash," Henik said when confirmed in Jakarta, Sunday.

From the hands of the perpetrators, officers secured a number of evidence in the form of two machetes, one samurai blade, one corbek, one ladle which was suspected of being used to carry dangerous liquids, as well as three motorcycle units.

"All the perpetrators and the evidence were then taken to the East Jakarta Metro Police to undergo further legal proceedings," said Henik.

He emphasized that routine patrols at vulnerable hours would continue to be carried out to prevent crime, such as fights that disturbed the community.

According to him, the presence of Brimob personnel in the field is a form of the commitment of the National Police in providing protection to the community and creating a sense of security in every region.

"We continue to increase preventive patrols and take firm action against any actions that have the potential to disrupt public security. Synergy with all police functions continues to be strengthened so that the potential for kamtibmas disruption can be prevented as early as possible before causing casualties," said Henik.

His party also invites the public to play an active role in maintaining environmental security by immediately reporting if they find indications of fights, possession of sharp weapons, or other criminal acts through the 110 police service or to the nearest police officer.

Henik emphasized that the rapid response of the community and the police was the key to creating a safe, orderly, and conducive kamtibmas situation in the Jakarta region.
