Repeatedly Occurred, Sarwendah Reveals Ruben Onsu's Alleged Affair since 2017

JAKARTA - Sarwendah gave further information regarding her statement regarding the alleged affair committed by her ex-husband, Ruben Onsu while still married to her.

Through his latest upload on Instagram, Sarwendah admitted that he had known about the affair since 2017. Although he had given a second chance, the trust was betrayed again.

Sarwendah said that in 2017, she found out that her husband was having an affair. At that time, she chose to forgive for the sake of family unity and saw her husband's hard struggle in making a living.

"In 2017, I found out about the affair. At that time he admitted his mistake, apologized, and promised to change. I saw how hard he struggled to make a living and build our family," wrote Sarwendah on the @sarwendah29 account, quoted by VOI, Sunday, August 2.

But unfortunately, that hope was gone. Sarwendah said that the affair was repeated, which eventually destroyed the remaining trust she had.

The most painful thing for Sarwendah was when she found evidence of a large amount of funds being given to the third person. Ironically, this happened when the family's economic condition was reportedly unstable.

"When the family's financial condition is difficult, but I know there are large expenditures for his mistress," said the former Cherrybelle member.

He admitted that his emotional reaction in the video that went viral was a form of an explosion of pain seeing the family he was fighting for destroyed in front of his eyes.

"I couldn't do anything to save him," he continued.

The impact of the heated argument, Sarwendah revealed that Ruben chose to leave. Since the incident was recorded in the video, their relationship has become distant.

"Since the incident, he left home and never came back. That is the context of the problem in the video," said Sarwendah.
