Bareskrim Checks Head Of Depok Transportation, Eko Herwiyanto, As A Land Mafia Suspect

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police (Bareskrim) will examine the Head of the Depok City Transportation Service (Kadishub) Eko Herwiyanto in the land mafia case. Eko was originally going to be questioned as a suspect.

"The schedule for the investigation (Eko Herwiyanto, ed) is today," said the Director of General Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Department, Brigadier General Andi Rian, when contacted on Wednesday, January 12.

It is planned that the inspection will take place around 10:00 western Indonesia time. However, Andi could not confirm whether Eko would fulfill the examination or not.

It is only emphasized that the examination is scheduled after the summons for the examination is sent by the investigation team.

On the previous occasion, Head of Public Information of the Public Relations Division of the Police, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan said that Eko Herwiyanto had falsified the letter of assignment of land rights while serving as the Sawangan sub-district head. He is suspected of collaborating with two other suspects.

"That the alleged falsification of the statement of waiver of rights for private interests was made by Brother H and Brother NA who were assisted by Brother EH. At that time, EH's position was Sawangan Sub-district Head," said Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, the Bareskrim Polri has named four suspects in the land mafia case in Sawangan, Depok. Where, two of them are the Head of the Depok City Transportation Service (Dishub), Eko Herwiyanto, and a member of the Depok City DPRD, Nurdin Al Ardisoma.

In this case, the suspects are charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code, Article 266 of the Criminal Code, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, Article 372 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
