Governor Wahidin Has Determined The UMK 2022 For Banten Province, Here Are The Numbers:

BANTEN - Banten Governor Wahidin Halim has set the District/City Minimum Wage in Banten Province in 2022. The highest UMK increase is in South Tangerang City at 1.17%.

"The Banten Provincial Government, in this case, the Banten Governor, has set the Regency/City Minimum Wage for the whole province of Banten", said the Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Service, Al Hamidi, in a message received by VOI, Tuesday, November 30.

Based on the direction of the Governor, the determination of the UMK refers to the applicable laws and regulations, namely PP No. 36/2021 concerning wages as a legal product derived from Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation which was declared still valid by the Constitutional Court and confirmed by the President in a speech.

"Therefore, the Governor as the head of the region is obliged to obey and implement the policies of the Central Government and applicable laws and regulations, including setting the UMK in 2022. 36 of 2021 on Wages.” So the content of the message is conveyed.

Three regions did not experience an increase in the UMK in 2022, namely Serang Regency, Tangerang Regency, and Pandeglang Regency.

The following is the amount of UMK in 2022 in Banten Province:

Pandeglang Regency there is no increase or it remains IDR 2,800,292.64

Lebak Regency rose to IDR 2,773,590.40, from IDR 2,751,313.18 or up 0.81%

Serang Regency has no increase or remains IDR . 4,125,186.86.

Tangerang Regency has no increase or remains IDR .4,230,792.65.

Tangerang City rose to IDR 4,285,798.90 from IDR 4,262,015.37 or up 0.56%.

South Tangerang City rose to IDR 4,280,214.51 from IDR 4,230,792.65 or up 1.17%

Cilegon City rose to IDR 4,430,254.18 from IDR 4,306.772.64 or up 0.71%

Serang City rose to IDR 3,850,526.18 from IDR 3,810,549.10 or up 0.52%
