1 Hour Of Struggle, Milem's Body In A Small Well In South Lampung Was Successfully Evacuated By Officers

LAMPUNG - Fire and Rescue Service (Damkarmat) officers in South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province, managed to evacuate the body of a woman from a well in Bumi Jaya Village, Candipuro District.

Head of the Fire Department of the South Lampung Damkarmat Service, Rully Fikriansyah, confirmed that his party, assisted by local residents, succeeded in evacuating the body of a woman named Milem (49).

"Yes, that's right, this morning the Damkarmat team together with residents evacuated the body of Milem's mother who allegedly fell into a well," he said in South Lampung, Antara, Sunday, January 5.

The evacuation lasted quite a long time because the well was small and deep enough.

"The evacuation process took an hour for officers to use complete equipment with seven members who went directly to the location," he said.

He explained that the chronology of the incident began when the Kalianda Command Post Firefighters received a report from Hendri, a local resident about the presence of a woman's body in a well.

"With the report, members left for the location at 09.00 WIB. Then because the location was quite far, the officers arrived at around 09.30 WIB. And immediately evacuated and succeeded at 10.30 WI," he said.
