Beyonce's Cowboy Carter Not Nominated For Country Music Awards, Disappointed Fans

JAKARTA - Beyonce through the album Cowboy Carter has made great steps in his music career. He ventured to explore country music that had been close to him since childhood.

Although the Cowboy Carter album received a lot of positive reviews, it doesn't seem that it's enough for the Country Music Association, an association set up to promote country music.

Country Music Association itself has announced categories and nominations included in their biggest annual agenda, Country Music Awards, which is also the biggest award event for country music.

Of the many categories competed, there is not a single Beyonce name and Cowboy Carter album, both in the Entertainer of the Year category, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Musician of the Year.

Fans who were disappointed also flooded the Instagram Country Music Association comment column. They questioned the absence of the singer's name

"Where's Beyonce?" wrote one fan.

"Beyonce is a country," wrote another fan.

"Where's Beyonce's Cowboy Carter?" wrote another fan.

Although Jay Z's wife was not nominated, one of the collaborators on the album Cowboy Carter, Shaboozey was nominated for the New Artist of the Year category.

Meanwhile, country singer Morgan Wallen is the most nominated musician. For this year, the 'Chasin' You' singer is superior to other musicians with seven nominations.
