Meta Introduces AI Agents in WhatsApp Business in Indonesia, Helps SMEs to Large Companies

JAKARTA - In the WhatsApp Business Summit (WABS) Indonesia, Meta officially announced the presence of Meta Business Agent to more countries, including Indonesia.

Meta Business Agent is an AI agent that allows every business to be present for every customer 24/7, whenever needed, directly in a WhatsApp conversation, for both small and large businesses, which will be directly integrated in the WhatsApp Business application.

With Meta Business Agent, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) will be able to:

Train AI agents to be able to answer specific questions about their business Provide product recommendations from the business catalog Schedule appointments and identify potential customers Help close sales Hand off conversations to team members to provide further support when needed.

Meanwhile, for large businesses, the Business Agent Platform can be integrated with existing systems and customized according to their business needs.

This platform allows companies to develop and customize AI agents while integrating them with already used business systems, such as Shopify, Zendesk, and Shopee.
