JAKARTA - Kaleb J opens the next chapter of his new EP, Tanda Cinta. The second single he officially introduced to listeners with the title I Found You.

At first glance, this song may be anticipated as a process of finding love, but it's not. The lyrics are a confirmation that prayers and dreams eventually come true.

"Actually when I wrote 'I Found You', I didn't think about continuing the story from 'Gerilya Cinta'," said Kaleb J.

"But it turns out that when it's put together, the story is connected. From guerrilla love, falling in love, to finally realizing - he's the one. "

This musical work was born from a sad moment that Kaleb J turned into gratitude. On a day when he was contemplating the struggle of love in his past that had never succeeded, he chose not to drown in sadness.

Instead, he wrote a prayer for the future. "At that time I was a little upset because I remembered the struggle of love in the past, no one had ever succeeded," he recalled. "But instead of being sad, I chose to be grateful and look to the future with hope. So I wrote a song about hope and my prayers - if it really happens later, there will be a match."

This song was written together with Belanegara Abe and Sumantri Limin, bringing elements of the R&B pop roots that are characteristic of Kaleb J, more familiar and close to the listeners who know him through previous releases. However, there is one new element that is deliberately embedded to deepen emotions.

"We thought about it to make it more deep in his feelings, more painful," explained Kaleb J. "So we added string instruments. And it's true, when you listen to it, it feels like you're hugging it again."

"My dream is not to have the whole world, what I dream of is having true love," he explained.

"Because in the end, happiness and peace of mind are the most valuable things and can't be replaced by anything. That's how I see the world." 'I Found You' will be accompanied by a music video that depicts the daily lives of a couple - not luxury or spectacular moments, but happiness in simple things that are lived together every day.
