Wuling Aira EV Flood Orders at GIIAS 2026, Ordered 2,238 Units

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors (Wuling) closed its participation in the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 with positive achievements, especially from one of its models, the Aira EV, which received a warm response.

From the data shared, Wuling managed to record a total of 3,290 vehicle order letters (SPK) and recorded a test drive figure of 2,203. Wuling Aira ev dominated the SPK acquisition during GIIAS 2026 with a total of 2,238 units, or 68 percent of Wuling's total SPK during the exhibition, consisting of 165 units Aira ev Standard Range and 2,073 units Aira ev Long Range.

After the Aira EV, the next model with the highest SPK acquisition was the Darion EV with 517 units and the Eksion EV with 179 units. This achievement shows the high interest of the public in Wuling's latest city car EV which offers a compact design, modern technology, and various conveniences to support daily mobility in urban areas.

Wuling Motors Sales Director, Kharismawan Awangga, expressed his gratitude for the enthusiasm and public trust in Wuling during the GIIAS 2026.

"The achievements we have achieved show a positive response from consumers to the vehicle lines we have introduced, especially the Aira ev which was officially introduced in this exhibition. We hope that the presence of Aira ev can provide more electric mobility options that meet the needs of the Indonesian people," he said, in an official statement received, Tuesday, August 11.

Visitor enthusiasm can also be seen through the test drive area presented by Wuling during GIIAS 2026. From a total of 2,203 test drive activities, the Aira ev was the most tried model with 1,648 tests, followed by Darion EV as many as 242 times, Eksion EV as many as 156 times, Wuling Eksion PHEV as many as 95 times, and Wuling Darion PHEV as many as 62 times.

The high number of test drives provides an opportunity for visitors to experience firsthand the driving experience with various Wuling electrification vehicles, especially Aira ev as the latest city EV car.

In addition to providing the opportunity to try vehicles, Wuling also presents the Deal n Drive program during GIIAS 2026 which provides a direct vehicle purchase experience for consumers. Through this program, as many as 147 units of Aira ev Long Range were successfully handed over directly to consumers throughout the GIIAS 2026.

GIIAS 2026 is an important momentum for Wuling to introduce the Aira ev and announce its official price to the Indonesian people. Aira ev is introduced as Wuling's latest city car EV which combines four main characters, namely Artistic, Innovative, Friendly, and Safe. Aira ev comes in two variant choices, namely Standard Range with a range of up to 205 km (CLTC) and Long Range with a range of up to 301 km (CLTC). The presence of two variant choices provides an alternative for consumers to choose Aira ev according to their mobility needs and preferences.
