When Andien Interpreted Chrisye's Songs At The Radjawawali Cultural Art Center

Singer Andien Aisyah looked stunning performing a series of songs popularized by the late Chrisye during the inauguration of the Radjawali Cultural Center (SCC) cultural arts center on Monday (15/5) evening local time.

Appearing wearing a charming black dress, Andien opened the action in collaboration with singer Endah Laras performing the late Chrisye version of "Seson" with Queen Keroncong Waldjinah from the 2006 album "Christye Duet By Request".

After opening his appearance, Andien greeted the guests who were present and he expressed his joy at appearing at the Radjawali SC that night. The existence of the performance building, said Andien, is a process that has been ingrained or passed down from generation to generation, so that it is not something that can be built overnight.

"So, I pray that what today is running can foster a lot of success and glory. I believe that glory is not something that can be achieved overnight, it takes a lot of process," he explained before singing the song "Gemilang", quoting Antara.

The soloist who was born on August 25, 1985, again presented a song that was popularized by the late Chrisye entitled "Pelangi" from the 1977 "Bada Pasti Berlalu" album which became one of his favorite numbers.

"During training to perform tonight, it turns out that there are so many people who have a memory of this song. I myself hear (the song 'Pelangi') every time I hear it, it feels like this heart is full. Hopefully this feeling can also reach all those present tonight," he explained.

After singing the song, Andien then talked about the strength of every song that can be passed down from generation to generation. According to him, singers usually come and go, but song works are always eternal.

"I remember that at that time the late Glenn Fredly made a movement 'Departing from a Song' which could create a lot of possibilities, works, jobs, and good things in this world. There is one song I always remember because it is so close to Indonesia. Every time I go to various regions in Indonesia, I always sing this song," said Andien before performing the song "Indahnya Dunia".

Not only performers on stage, Andien also appreciated the performance which was a celebration of collaboration so that it brought blessings to all parties.

"I have a small mission in life, namely to collaborate with people from various jobs or ages. Today I not only collaborated with musicians, but also make-up artists and photographers from Semarang. Radjawali has facilitated many things tonight, may you be blessed," he said, smiling from the stage.

Andien closed his brief appearance that night by performing two songs popularized by the late Chrisye titled "Negeriku" from the 1997 album "Kala Cinta Seduces" and Guruh Soekarnoputra's "Zamrud Equatorial".
