Sad News, Junghwan TREASURE's Father Dies

JAKARTA - Sad news came from Junghwan TREASURE. YG Entertainment shared the news that his father died last weekend.

Without explaining the reason, the agency that oversees TREASURE made a statement in English to global fans.

"We regret to inform you that So Jung Hwan TREASURE's father passed away on August 17. We bring this sad news with a heavy heart," said YG Entertainment.

The funeral was held behind closed doors between the family, relations, and members of TREASURE, according to Jung Hwan and his family's expectations, they continued.

The agency asked fans to give Jung Hwan time to mourn this difficult time.

"We ask for your considerations and condolences so that Jung Hwan can have time to mourn with his family," he said again.

"We also share our condolences to So Jung Hwan and his family in this sad time," continued the agency.

So Jung Hwan is the only child in his family. This sad news came after TREASURE completed their concert tour, REBOOT.
